The pictures here of the Battle Group North event at Elvington are from 2010, 2011 and 2013. We agree that it’s always so friendly, whatever the weather. There are times we have taken friends there who like us say how surprised they are that the re enactors are always so approachable. The dioramas are really interesting plus those on duty can also be very informative without being pushy. Perhaps it could also be promoted as a great opportunity for photographers to take candids? Like with the steam rally events we attend, we always come home tired but happy.
