The 2019 OVTE show was blessed with glorious September weather. Most of us that attended left with a good late summer sunburn glow.
The good weather attracted another huge turnout from punters and exhibitors from
steam engines and shiny HGVs, to pushbikes and everything in between.
I'm please to report that Yorkshire MVT were well represented in the Military Vehicles section, and that there was a
1, 2, 3 for YMVT members in the best in class prizes.
Brian Fox (Jeep) Derek Stead (Dodge Command Car) and Debbie Balding (Dodge Ambulance) took the top 3 awards, with Debbie's ambulance winning 1st place and the Clive Fox Trophy.
The highlight for me was seeing some of my old 70s scalextric toy cars in real life! Remember the Triumph TR7 and Ford Escort Mexico? mmmm, eye candy.
